I am an artist from the Taroko tribe of Xiulin Township, Taiwan. Over the years, I have used leather art to express my innermost emotions and inexhaustible vitality. I recall my first encounter with leather carving during my studies at Tainan Women's College of Technology (formerly Tainan Home Economics and Technology College). I visited an international leather carving exhibition where the creator was a Native American. The works on display were extremely impressive, and I deeply felt a connection through the shared indigenous vocabulary. This ignited my desire for creation. Consequently, I eagerly apprenticed to learn the craft and embarked on my creative journey.
